Counterfeit sneaker makers are always ahead of the curve. Their latest production is the air Jordan 3 OG fire red, which is a perfect replica of the real thing. But how do they do it? It’s simple, really. They have access to the latest design files and production techniques. They also have a network of suppliers who can get them the materials they need at a fraction of the cost of the real thing. As a result, they can produce knock-offs that are nearly indistinguishable from the real thing. And because they’re so good at what they do, they’re always one step ahead of the authorities.
Images of The Fake Air Jordan 3 Fire Red
Without the backdrop of an authentic pair, it is really hard to spot the flaws on them. But after years of looking at sneakers, there are still areas that bootleggers fail to get right.
On most Fake Jordan 3’s, the heel overlay is cut a bit too high and this pair appears to have that indication. As you can see on the fake Jordan 3 Pine green in the picture below, the elephant print overlay is cut too hit. That’s certainly an area you want to zero in on. Interestingly, the elephant print on the fake Fire Red 3 has been done correctly.
Be Sure To Check Out The Inside Tab
One of the other key elements to look at is the inside label. Fake usually have an early production date. As you can see in the image above , this particular replica pair was produced between 12/21/21 and 3/2/22. The authentic pair will probably have a different production date, that’s something you want to keep an eye on.
The air pocket is also another area to focus on, on most fakes, it is usually long. Check out the example in the image below
Observations
I will say that for a fake pair, the replica Air Jordan 3 OG Fire Red looks incredible, and I’ll rate it a 9/10. Let me tell you why. The shoe features a tumbled leather upper ( in keeping with the authentic pair). The elephant print was correctly done both on the forefoot and the heel. The red highlights are consistent with the real pair’s colors. The heel liner thickness is on point. The only possible flaws are the air chamber ( functional purpose) and the leather cut. This is the reason why most people in the sneaker community don’t care anymore. However , the sale of these replicas is prohibited by the law and rightfully so. But buyers don’t care. This post was solely published to warn you so you don’t overpay for these 3’s. I think the current going price is $150+, which is interesting for a pair of fakes.
Additional Tips To avoid Fake Sneakers
1. Smell the shoes ( only if you’ve already made the purchase)
One of the dead giveaway is the smell/odor of the glue uses to construct the replicas. If the glue smell is really strong to the point of irritating your nostrils, then you’ve probably being dealt a counterfeit
2.Proof of Purchase
Ask for a proof of purchase. Receipt must include details such as provenance, time of purchase, date and any other relevant information. If a seller is reluctant to provide that, I will strongly urge to refrain from following through with the purchase.
