Welcome back to our Tuesday’s edition of legit check, today we’ll learn how to quickly identify the fake Nike Air Foamposite One Tianjin 2.0 by leaning on Snide’s detailed video breakdown. This is a pair of shoe that is highly coveted and counterfeit pairs have already flooded the market. Our focus will be on the toe, the back, the insoles, the heel and outsole. So grab your pair and let’s get started.
How To Tell If Your Nike Air Foamposite One Tianjin 2.0 is Fake?
Toe

The textured pattern on the eyestay is considerably shinier on the fake pair, producing a reflective glare that is largely absent on the authentic shoe. By contrast, the authentic pair features a more subdued and matte finish that allows the pattern to remain visible without excessive reflection, see red circles. The mini Nike Swoosh also differs in color . On the authentic pair, the logo is embroidered using a richer and more saturated orange-red thread, giving it a bolder appearance. The fake pair’s Swoosh appears lighter and more faded, see green boxes.
Forefoot Outsole Comparison

Looking specifically at the green outsole section highlighted by the red boxes:
- Authentic Pair: The green outsole appears more opaque and solid. The surface has a denser appearance, making it difficult to see through the rubber.
- Fake Pair: The green outsole is noticeably more translucent. Light passes through the material more easily, allowing the traction the graphic underneath it to become more visible.
Medial SideÂ

The scale-inspired graphic features darker and slightly thicker brown outlines on the fake pair, while the authentic pair uses finer and lighter-colored lines that appear more refined, see red circles. The padded heel liner also differs in color, with the authentic pair displaying a cleaner white tone and the fake Foamposite One Tianjin 2.0 pair appearing slightly duller and more off-white, see red arrows. Another easy-to-spot discrepancy can be found in the collar padding. The fake pair features a noticeably thicker and bulkier top liner, whereas the authentic pair has a slimmer and more streamlined collar shape, see green arrows.
Back ( Heel)

The black Chinese characters on the authentic pair are cleaner and more precisely stitched, while the fake pair features darker, heavier, and noticeably sloppier embroidery. The gold emblem also differs in color, with the authentic pair displaying a brighter gold thread and the fake pair appearing slightly darker and duller. In addition, the shape of the emblem itself varies between the two pairs. The authentic version features sharper rays and more balanced lower extensions, whereas the counterfeit emblem uses thicker rays and differently shaped lower sections.
Insole

Both the Chinese characters and the scale-inspired artwork are printed in a darker shade on the fake pair. The counterfeit insole uses heavier ink application, creating stronger contrast and making the graphics appear more pronounced, see red circles.

The authentic pair features lighter and more subdued vertical striping across the foam backing, while the fake pair displays darker and more pronounced lines, see red boxes. The molded size references also differ noticeably. On the real pair, the markings are deeper, sharper, and much easier to read. By contrast, the fake pair features shallower embossing that makes the size information appear faint and less legible, see red circles.
Outsole

On the authentic pair, the carbon fiber appears lighter and less pronounced because the green rubber compound is more opaque and limits visibility beneath the surface. By contrast, the fake pair uses a more translucent outsole, allowing significantly more of the underlying carbon fiber to show through. This creates a darker and more prominent appearance in the shank area, see red circles.

Once again the green rubber compound is more translucent on the fake pair’s outsole at the back than it is on the real pair, this is easy to spot.
