In today’s legit check, we’ll be learning how to quickly identify the Fake Air Jordan 4 Brick After Brick Nigel Sylvester. The shoe reminds me a lot of the Fire Red 4 for obvious reasons but it was certainly targeted by counterfeiters as several batches of fakes were released on the market. The one we’ll be looking at today is by far the best one and pinned against the authentic pair, there weren’t that many flaws. We’ll be leaning on Snide’s video this time to point out the differences. Areas of our focus will include the heel, the back, the tongue, hangtag and more.
How To Tell If Your Nigel Sylvester Air Jordan 4 Brick After Brick is Fake?
Back

Heel Tab

The embroidered bicycle graphic on the authentic pair is stitched using an off-white thread that closely matches the surrounding suede, whereas the fake pair uses a darker greyish thread that creates more contrast. The bicycle design itself also differs slightly, with noticeable variations in the position of the pedal and other frame elements. Looking below the heel tab, the collar padding provides another clue. The authentic pair features a thinner and more streamlined heel liner, while the fake pair uses noticeably thicker padding that creates a bulkier appearance around the collar opening, see double lines.
Outsole

Packaging

On the box lid, the BIKE AIR and swoosh logo graphic appear lighter and more subdued on the authentic box, while the counterfeit version uses darker printing that creates stronger contrast against the cement-print background.

The cement pattern itself also differs, with the fake box displaying darker speckling and heavier grey blotches throughout the surface. Another noticeable distinction can be found on the size label. The authentic label features a more reflective finish that catches light more easily and gives the printing a sharper appearance. By contrast, the fake label appears flatter and less reflective.
