Welcome to another edition of legit check, today we’ll be learning how to quickly spot the fake Air Jordan 6 Bin23. When Jordan Brand came up with the Premio Bin23 collection, it was a sight to behold, each one that dropped was an instant classic, and my favorite one to this day is still the 13’s silhouettes, I just couldn’t get enough of it. I don’t know when the brand decided to bring back the collection again but counterfeiters wasted no time in producing their own replicated versions and you’ll do well in watchin this side by side comparison courtesy of Jacob Marcellus so you don’t get taken advantage of, especially if you’re planning on picking up a pair from a third party merchant. Areas of our focus will include the back, the toe, the tongue, the insole, outsole, and packaging. So grab your sneakers and let’s get started.

Outsole

The authentic pair features a deeper red Jumpman logo, while the fake jumpman leans toward an orange-red hue, see yellow arrows. The circular traction pods, especially around the forefoot, are also slightly larger on the authentic outsole, whereas the fake pair uses smaller, tighter traction holes, se yellow circles. Another noticeable difference is the outsole color itself. The authentic rubber has a more muted bluish-grey tone, while the fake outsole appears brighter and slightly more vibrant with a subtle purple cast, see green arrows.
Lace Tips

The real lacetips feature brighter infrared-colored aglets, while the fake pair uses a darker, more conventional red.

The real card features a richer and more vibrant BIN 23 wax seal, while the fake seal appears lighter and less saturated. More importantly, the authentic card includes a subtle dotted background pattern surrounding the seal, a detail that is completely absent on the fake card, see yellow circles.
Box
The real box features a smooth cardboard finish with minimal visible corrugated lines, while the fake box displays noticeable vertical pressure marks across the surface.
The red fabric pull ribbon is also wider on the authentic box, whereas the counterfeit ribbon is noticeably narrower.
Finally, the BIN 23 wax seal uses a deeper, richer shade of red on the authentic box, while the fake seal appears lighter and less saturated.
Box Label
The counterfeit label features a darker QR code with heavier ink coverage, while the authentic QR code appears slightly lighter and more precisely printed. The white border surrounding the label is also slightly wider on the fake, whereas the authentic label has a more balanced layout. Finally, the “12” and “13.5” size markings are printed differently. The fake pair uses a slightly larger but thinner font, while the authentic label features darker, bolder, and sharper sizing number.
