It appears to me, and perhaps you may agree, that there is a conspicuous absence of careful planning and scrutiny in many of these major brands, with Nike at the forefront. First, they released the Bordeaux 6, paying homage to the legendary Jordan 7 Bordeaux, a move I found rather lackluster. Now, they are set to release the Air Jordan 7 White Infrared as a tribute to the classic Jordan 6 White Infrared.
The creative process behind these shoes seems to be superficial at best, lacking the depth and gravity one would expect. This frivolity not only disheartens me but also makes the task of writing about them incredibly boring. The shoes’ lack of substance severely diminishes the joy I find in writing.
Moving on, the shoe dons a color scheme of White, Crimson, and Black. The Air Jordan 7 offering features a White leather upper punctuated by contrasting Infrared, or Crimson, accents and Black detailing. A White midsole resting on an icy translucent outsole rounds off the design. The shoe is set to be available in both men’s and grade school sizes. Now let’s see how the shoe is performing on third party marketplaces.
Jordan 7 White Infrared : Resale Value
I was going to go through the rigorous tasks of collecting data on the average sale price in terms of time but I had to put the pause button on that. I checked how much sellers were currently asking for the shoe and that concluded my work, see the chart below

As you can see, the chart above gives you a summary of the average asking price per size from sizes 7.5 to size 13. And you can clearly see that all the prices are below the suggested $200 MSRP, this is incredible. You have to wonder how this is possible and we can only speculate about possible reasons for this. The only one that makes sense , which is probably true is that the shoe is readily available at the Nike employee store where it is being sold for up to 50% below the MSRP. That explains why sellers are willing to sell it this low.
The other possibility is that retailers might be selling their inventory on the secondary markets since sellers cannot be tracked, that is a very high possibility and it isn’t too far fetched. The third option is that the shoes are fake which I doubt since these new dynamic platforms wouldn’t want to put their business in jeopardy by carrying counterfeits.
