The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 has been one of the most popular sneakers since its initial release back in 2019. The sneaker was a huge success for both Nike and Travis Scott, and it looks like the brand is taking full advantage of this success by releasing newer colorways of the shoe that has generated more interest. The latest colorway out of the brand’s lab is the Travis Scott Air Jordan 1 Low Black Phantom edition. Let’s take a look at what makes this new edition so special!
The Design of the Shoe
The Travis Scott Air Jordan 1 Low Black Phantom edition is dressed in a classic black and phantom color scheme. The all-black suede upper gives this version an edgy vibe that pairs perfectly with the white stitches at the toe box and ankle collar giving it a subtle pop of contrast. Adding to the design are oversized backward facing Nike Swooshes on each lateral side, while a regular Swoosh graces the medial side.
Travis Scott Details
Of course, no Travis Scott collaboration would be complete without some signature details from his own personal brand. On each tongue, medial side panel, and sockliner you can find his “Cactus Jack” logo which pays homage to the rapper’s record label imprint. The heel tabs feature both Jordan Wings on one side and his daughter Stormi’s bee logo on the other – further showcasing their close relationship as father and daughter.

Travis Scott Air Jordan 1 Low Black Phantom: Resale Value

Observations
The chart gives us a breakdown of the average sale price of the shoe since December 7, 2022. Prices went from $1316 down to $1290 within a 4 day period, roughly decreasing by $14.6 every day. But this shouldn’t be alarming, let’s see what the five number summary reveals.
Minimum: 1000
Quartile Q1: 1133.5
Median: 1250
Quartile Q3: 1415.75
Maximum: 2676
The lowest sale recorded was $1,000 for a size 11 while the highest sale was $2676 for a size 14 ( that’s to be expected). The majority of the shoes, that is 50% of them sold for prices from $1134 to $1416. The bottom 25% sold for prices from $1000 to $1134 while the top 25% , that is 1/4 of the shoes sold for prices from $1416 to $2676. The next chart will show you what sizes fall in each category. There were two outliers, {2151, 2676}, corresponding to sizes 16 and 14 respectively ( that shouldn’t be a surprise). With the outliers removed, the overall average sale price is $1278, with a volatility of 15% ( that’s normal). Don’t expect the current prices to change significantly, most pairs will probably lie within the $1090 to $1470 range. The question isn’t if you’re going to make money with these shoes, but rather how much are you trying to make.
Currently, the earnings are between $750 and $2275 for mark ups between 469% to 1422% ( 31 to 95 times above average). That’s what you call a HOMERUN. The next chart will show you the sizes with the highest returns.

Check back with us by December 22,2022, I’ll provide you with a projection of future prices of the shoes, stay tuned.
