Steph Curry Shoes are now highly sought after not only by basketball players but also by sneaker enthusiasts all over the world. I live in Maryland, and i can tell you first hand how many times I have walked into the Under Armour store located in Bethesda, and witnessed a parade of people eager to get their hands on Curry’s latest signature shoe. How did Under Armour snatch Curry from established brands like Nike and Adidas to break into the sneaker market?
Curry had been wearing Nike shoes from his college days at Davidson up to the 2013 NBA season when they were defeated by the San Antonio spurs. I will not get into lengthy details as to the reason why Curry chose Under Armour Over Nike but i will say this: Nike already had their main guys in Kobe, Lebron, and Kevin Durant so Curry was pretty much an after thought, and therefore was not shown enough respect. Every model that was released in the Curry 1 series obviously sported the same technology as follows:
Charged Cushioning in the Midsole: intended to absorb impact and convert it into a responsive burst to give Curry’s and whomever first step and change of direction unmatched explosiveness ( especially for players who like the play off ball and whose game is extremely dependent on constant motion, and quickness).
