Summertime rhymes with the outdoors and the countless basketball games on the playground. Nike is preparing another trio for the post NBA season: the Nike Kyrie 3, Lebron & KD9 Elite Summer Basketball Pack.
The regular KD9
were probably among the top 5 performance shoes of the year; Nike is always about improving their sneakers to enhance the athlete’s performance. The kd9 elite features a knit upper with added knit-in ventilation holes in the midfoot for breathability purposes ( especially for the hot summer days). The brand also added adaptive knitting tunnels into the upper to restrict lateral movements of the foot inside the shoes. To lighten up the shoes, Nike seamlessly integrated the tongue padding into a knit pocket ( doing away with extra layers). The KD 9 elite also comes equipped with a full length visible air unit for a low profile, responsive cushioning. The very first colorway of the Kd9 elite was grey and dropped a few weeks ago. The summer KD9 elite features a pale grey and ivory color combination with a gum outsole.
