It’s been over a decade since Allen Iverson last stepped on an NBA court, but his impact is still felt today. A former league MVP and 11-time All-Star, Iverson was one of the most electrifying players in basketball history. Though he stands just six feet tall, he fearlessly took on opponents much bigger than him and regularly left them in his dust with his signature crossover dribble. And what better way to honor his legacy than by donning the upcoming white & Black Reebok Answer IV?
Brief History Of The Answer IV
In 2001, Allen Iverson was at the top of his game. He had just been named MVP and led the Philadelphia 76ers to the NBA Finals. And he was about to get his own signature shoe: the Reebok Answer IV. The Answer IV was a high-performance basketball shoe that featured a herringbone outsole for traction, a full-length DMX foam cushioning system for comfort, and a lightweight upper for speed. It was also one of the first shoes to feature Iverson’s own “The Answer” logo. The Answer IV quickly became a popular shoe on and off the court, and it remains one of Reebok’s most iconic shoes to this day.
The upcoming black and white Answer IV colorway isn’t inspired by anything in particular. I believe it was an alternate version of the Stepover edition that was released not long ago. With Panda themed sneakers currently trending, it only makes sense for Reebok to also release their version of it. If you’re interested in purchasing a pair, refer to the details below
