The Fake Travis Scott x Air Force 1 Low has been on the market for quite some time now but I didn’t get an opportunity to do a side by side comparison till this day. And every time I write these real vs fake posts, I’m reminded of the danger of following the ever subtle counterfeit gospels. Paul the apostle and Jesus Himself warns about the dangers of false teachers and calls them wolves in sheep clothing. And the question that I get from a lot of people is this? How do you know that what you believe is True? Even Pilate asked Jesus: ” What is Truth?”.Basically people want to know whom to trust and what to believe in; and if that is you, I’ll invite you to check out the posts below
Now here are quick ways to identify the Fake Travis Scott x Air Force 1 Low
PS: both sneakers used in the comparison are a size 8
The swoosh logo on the authentic pair features a different material covered in little white dots that are nowhere to be seen on the fake pair.
This is the right pair, you’ll notice how the graphic on the quarter panel extends further down on the fake pair ( it’s almost adjacent to the midsole, see vertical yellow line). You’ll also notice that the distance between the heel overlay and the vertical stitched area is wider on the fake pair ( see yellow line). And also zero in on the ending of the swoosh logo ( like the previous picture, the authentic pair features a different material covered in subtle white dots). The gold button on the authentic pair appears more legible and brother than the one on the fake pair.
You can clearly see how the color of the heel liner differs between both pairs ( see red circle). The heel tab appears black on the authentic pair but navy blue on the fakes ( see red arrow pointing down). The red arrows just shows you once again the differences in the material used on the swoosh logo.
The size, shape and font of the letters and numbers on the box label of both pairs aren’t similar. I think you can easily spot all the differences though subtle.
This is the area I want you to focus on the most, with the advent of the QR code and the RFID tags, authenticating sneakers will get much easier. I want you to watch the entire video below to understand my statement.
PS: The Real VS Fake posts require a lot of time to write because replica/counterfeits are getting better and spotting their flaws is a meticulous task. I understand that some of you may still be unsure about the authenticity of your sneakers, this is why I’m providing the video below to give additional help.
