This year’s Quai tournament in France highlighted the Jordan 3 silhouette. The shoe was limited but hasn’t really been coveted by many, I particularly don’t the colorway but to each his own. Bootleggers always target limtied sneakers and the Quai 54 3 isn’t an exception, here are quick ways to identify it.
The leather material on the real pair has more vivid wrinkles; the gap between the edge of the midsole and the air unit is bigger on the authentic pair. Moreover, the fake air unit has marks all over its screen ( poor craftsmanship).
You can clearly see the difference in the texture of the leather on the panels ( vivid patterns on the authentic pair). The pink color on the authentic pair is dark but of a lighter shade on the fake pair ( see yellow arrow).
You can clearly see how the tab is way below the liner on the fake pair ( see yellow arrow). The yellow rectangle highlights the cut of the leather on the heel ( it appears more rounded and deeper on the legitimate pair).
The mid section pods aren’t of the same material ( if you zero in on it you’ll see it).
A view at the back of the shoes gives you a better look at the differences in the height of the tab on the back ( see yellow rectangles).
The outsole is of a lighter shade of ocean blue on the fake pair.
The picture above is self explanatory.
PS: The Real VS Fake posts require a lot of time to write because replica/counterfeits are getting better and spotting their flaws is a meticulous task. I understand that some of you may still be unsure about the authenticity of your sneakers, this is why I’m providing the video below to give additional help. Be sure to watch it in its entirety and don’t forget to subscribe to my website. Your support is greatly appreciated
