I’ve already written a post a few weeks ago pointing out an issue eBay continues to turn a blind eye to- the sale of obvious openly fake sneakers on the platform, see post below
eBay Is Polluted With The Fake Travis Scott Air Jordan 6- Beware
This morning I was trying to investigate the current market value of the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Shattered Backboard 3.0 and came across an interesting listing , see screenshot below
When I saw the listing, two things raise my eyebrows, the price of course ( $209 too good to be true) and the phrase “See description”. So I proceeded to check out the description and this is what was said,
Best UA (aka “factory leaks”, check what it means before purchasing)
Size US8-12 (pictures are one of the pairs already sold)
(Takes apprx. 1 week to ship)
New with box
Final sale no refund, check pictures for details.
100% satisfated feedback

If youare not familiar with the terminology, UA means ( Unauthorized authentic), the ultimate oxymoron. The term “UA” may mean something different today but as far as I’m concerned, it conveys the same camouflaged message- it screams counterfeits. I won’t buy into the idea that eBay fraud’s department isn’t aware of this, I think they’ve chosen to use the “ignorance card” to defend themselves. I’ve already denounced this lack of attention to details from eBay in the post below,
PS:I’ve done a lot of comparisons between fake and authentic sneakers over the last couple of years, and realized I never put together a comprehensive list of all the posts I created. So to help you guys make better decisions prior to making any purchases online from third party merchants, I created this Legit check list today ( over 100 comparisons). I’ll update it periodically because fakes/replicas are getting upgraded as I type this. The replica industry has been using our comparisons to perfect their items, basically they look at the flaws we point out and fix them. So it’s an ongoing problem and I’ll do my best to keep this post as current as possible
