The Nike Air Foamposite Pro Green Camo brings back one of the more memorable Foamposite colorways from the early 2010s. Originally released in June 2013, this pair combines the unmistakable Foamposite construction with a rugged green camouflage pattern.
One thing I’ve always said about Foamposites is that they’re built like German tanks. The upper is constructed around the signature molded Foamposite shell, giving the shoe the hard, structured feel that has made the Foamposite line so recognizable over the years.
The Green Camo edition features a camouflage-covered shell complemented by the large Nike Swoosh along the side. Additional glossy details and contrasting accents give the shoe even more character without taking away from the camouflage theme.
Around the upper, you’ll find a combination of textile, mesh and nubuck-like materials. Front and rear pull tabs make it easier to get your foot in and out of the shoe, while perforated and mesh areas help provide some ventilation.
Underneath the shoe is one of my favorite structural features: the carbon-fiber shank, which provides additional torsional rigidity and stability. The shoe is finished with a gum rubber outsole for traction and a look that works extremely well against the Green Camo upper.

Fit & Comfort
Don’t expect these to feel like an ultra-light modern basketball shoe. Foamposites are heavy and substantial, which makes me wonder how Penny Hardaway was able to play basketball in them.
The shoe also doesn’t rely on a traditional exposed foam midsole setup, so much of the underfoot comfort comes from the internal cushioning and insole.
If durability, nostalgia and the unmistakable Foamposite look are what you’re after, the Nike Air Foamposite Pro Green Camo is definitely a pair worth checking out.
