The Air Jordan 9 released in November 1993, and was the first one made after MJ decided to call it quits from the game of basketball. While he never played a full NBA season in these, the shoe was made into baseball cleats which MJ used while playing for a minor league team. The most intriguing part of the shoe was actually the outsole, which included different symbols and languages of different countries
