I’m sure the minute people see the Off White in the title of this post, they’ll immediately infer that Virgin Abloh inspired the shoe. Ladies and gentlemen, the Off White New Balance 990 has nothing to do with him, its just the color scheme that’s all. I also came across this pair earlier today while in the mall and I was instantly drawn to it. What caught my attention was its inner liner and the box it comes in. The liner appears shiny and the box isn’t the standard blue/red box but a silver one with an actual removable lid. The shoes feature a premium pigskinRead More →

Nike is operating with the “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” concept in mind. At this point, Virgin Abloh’s Off-white themed sneakers are on demand, so it’ll be pointless for the brand to try to change a system that’s fruitful. Consumers are infatuated with Abloh and his abstract approach of (re)designing sneakers, so let’s make more of those is Nike saying. Coming out on March 30th is the OFF WHITE x Nike Air VaporMax covered in black and orange. The customary random prhsaes can be spotted on the panels and heel. RELEASE INFORMATION/ WHERE TO BUY? OFF WHITE x Nike Air VaporMax Black Style#AA3831-002 ,Read More →

I recently shared an article about Adidas having a serious problem with replicas.I stated in the post that there is a newer breed of replica Adidas Yeezy 350’s that is basically identical to their authentic counterpart. You can read the entire post in the link below Adidas Has A Problem That Can No Longer Be Ignored Adidas shouldn’t be singled out when it comes to this issue; Nike has dealt with the fake sneakers’s thorn for years but somehow the brand has managed to dodge a lot of bullets by serving the consumers with good quality products with intricate details that made it easy toRead More →

Actor and comedian Jamie Foxx wore black, gray, and white Nike Air Max 90s at a recent public appearance. Jamie wore form fitting black pants and a matching black top along with a sporty light gray overcoat. In one of multiple photos that were taken, it is clear that Jamie left the red tag on his left sneaker. This was an interesting shoe decision. Click here to see Jamie in the Off White Nike Air Max 90s on the YBF website. The light gray in his sneakers is a subtle but effective match with his light gray overcoat.  Similarly, the black stripes are a niceRead More →

Galaxy themed sneakers were once the most prevalent customs in the sneaker market. They were obviously inspired by the Nike All Star galactic collection. To this day I think the Galaxy KD 4 and the Lebron 9 Galaxy were the best out of the entire pack. But most folks were fascinated with the galaxy foamposite which indeed was very striking. Nearly every customizer took his/her shot at the galaxy theme; then came the paranorman foamposite and just like its predecessors, many artists tried to create their own replicated version of the paranormans. Footwear News made a bold claim a few weeks ago saying that, VirgilRead More →

A Photoshop version of the off white Nike Air More Uptempo sent everyone into a frenzy a couple of weeks ago. During my routine scouting I️ came across a taobao seller who actually made this dream a reality. But as you all know the shoes are not legitimate yet I’m amazed at the speed at which these were manufactured. It seems like the replica industry has infiltrated every sneaker community there is on planet earth. How else could they have come up with this prototype this quick? What surprises me is the material they use on these replicas. The shoes look darn good and could easilyRead More →

Many are still recovering from striking out of the Virgin Abloh X Nike Collection a few days ago. There is no doubt that more people were upset because they were banking on flipping the Off White sneakers for their Christmas shopping. Don’t get me wrong, I know a lot of folks who also wanted to actually wear the shoes, but the masses were more interested in the monetary gains the shoes could’ve provided. Well it seems like more sneaker brands are jumping on the Off White bandwagon- Virgin Abloh and Vans  have an upcoming Vans X Off White collection. Images of the collection have surfacedRead More →

I read an article on Footwear News which raised my eyebrows once more. Last week I wrote about my discontent with mainstream media outlets nominating the Off White Air Jordan 1 as the most coveted shoe of the year. In my argument, my I was directing may attention to the sample size they used to evaluate the shoes in question. I guess they must’ve read my post because this morning, they posted an article titled Sneakerheads Weigh In on FN’s 2017 Shoe of the Year. Let me let you read the very first paragraph of the article, Virgil Abloh earned FN’s Shoe of the Year honors withRead More →

I shared a post a few days ago criticizing the fact that the Off White Air Jordan 1 was nominated as the most coveted shoe of the year, you can read it in the link below. Off- White Air Jordan 1 Most Coveted Shoe Of The Year, Based On What? I guess in my assertion, I left one key detail- I don’t have the shoes on hand so I’ve never seen them physically. Basically my evaluation may be a bit skewed and not quite accurate. I was challenged by Steve Joseph who actually has a pair of the Off White Air Jordan 1 and leftRead More →
