Earlier this week, we learned that JB was bringing back the Air Jordan 1 OG Shadow. As a matter the Retro Jordans line up for next year is going to be incredible, featuring many classics. But the brand has also blessed up with the Air Jordan 1 Shadow OG Camo a few weeks ago. They feature a full grain leather upper with grey suede details on the toe box, panel swoosh logo and heel leather straps. Adding a bit more flavor to the shoes is the camouflage print on the uppers with additional 3M reflective details. They are available now on eBay for below retail, see listingsRead More →

The Saucony Shadow 5000 Chocolate Pack takes its roots from Massachusetts rich history in candy making. The collection will include two distinct colorways as follows: Saucony Shadow 5000 Chocolate Pack Brown Inspired by brown chocolate, the shoes come in a brown and metallic gold color combination. They feature a mixture of suede and premium leather on the uppers. Saucony logos can be spotted on the outside of the tongue in gold ( tongue tabs), on the back panel ( embroidered saucony wording in gold). A few days ago, a  sample pair of Yeezy 350 V2 in earth colors emerged and are supposedly dropping very soon. As I was picking up a couple of shoes in my local mall, I came across the Adidas Tubular Shadow Cardboard BY3711, pretty much a prototype of the Yeezy 350 vs earth. They obviously come in a cardboard -like colorway and feature a knit upper with 3D diamond pattern for a sleek look. Adidas branding appears on the tongue tab, and the brand’s classic leaf logo can be spotted on the back tab. The shoes also have a innovative wrap closure for a comfortable fitRead More →

The tubular shadow is a great consolation price for those who can’t find way to buy a pair of Yeezy. They are basically a prototype of the Yeezy shoes in my opinion; you can buy a pair of the Camouflage Adidas Tubular Shadow via END now. They come in a camouflage print with an array of army themed colors; they feature a nubuck upper with suede details near the toe box. End does a better job at describing the shoes, adidas update the Tubular runner in a monochromatic reworking that sees asymmetrical detailing with suede to one side and nubuck to the other, boldly printed with aRead More →

Urbana skate park Saturday Mini Recap Observations

I don’t know if you had an opportunity to read my last post about the Urbana Skate Park, if you didn’t i’ll invite you to check out the link below The Urbana Skate Park is Breathing New Life Into The Community I’ve been going to this park literally every day since I’ve discovered it; and I’m not skating but my son is. Honestly I think onlookers are having more fun at the park than actual users. I’ve spent an average of 2 hours and some change there and made a few observations. First, I want to personally thank Joe Wallace and Billy Shreve for makingRead More →

The highlight of the upcoming week end is going to be the Air Jordan 1 High Obsidian University Blue. I’m not sure why Nike decided to release the Jordan 10 Camo on the same day ( that’s a terrible idea since this style will be overshadowed by the Obsidian 1’s). My task this morning is to figure out the number of pairs that might have been produced. To do that, I first need to come up with the list of stockists that have been allocated an inventory, create some assumptions and then come up with our estimate. Major Retailers: Footlocker, Footaction, Champs, Finishline,Hibbett , JD sports– available in storesRead More →

The Nike Air Foamposite Pro Camo Black Court Purple is available now for purchase. I don’t think it a good idea that Nike decided to release this shoe on this day, it’s going to be overshadowed by the myriad of sneakers that are dropping today. I like the colorway but there is literally no incentive behind the shoe that will drive the consumer to purchase it. As a matter fact, StockX’s current record in the screenshot below is a good way to make an inference on its retail’s performance The shoe has a negative mark up and only 56 pairs have been sold so farRead More →

Growing up in Togo, West Africa, a former french colony, football ( soccer) was a huge part of my upbringing and the PSG was one of the teams that I enjoyed watching. I wouldn’t say that Nike creating a shoe inspired by the PSG brings any types of memories but it’s always refreshing to see that soccer is beyond tolerated now in the USA i,e Americans  have a genuine  affinity toward this sport in this current era. My job this morning is to figure out the number of pairs Nike could’ve possibly made. To do so I had to collect data and my only sourceRead More →
