British singer Ed Sheeran rocked camel colored sneakers at the Z100 Jingle Bell event in New York this December. What are these sneakers?  I have no idea what type of sneakers these are. Other than Ed’s red hair, the sneakers were the most exciting part of his red carpet outfit. Click here to see Ed wearing the mystery camel colored sneakers. The singer sang with Taylor Swift at Madison Square Garden and took pictures with making-a-comeback Lindsay Lohan. We missed Lindsay Lohan and are glad she’s back. Despite wearing a track suit, Lohan was not wearing sneakers. Taylor Swift wore a shimmery black outfit. HerRead More →

Actor and comedian Jamie Foxx wore black, gray, and white Nike Air Max 90s at a recent public appearance. Jamie wore form fitting black pants and a matching black top along with a sporty light gray overcoat. In one of multiple photos that were taken, it is clear that Jamie left the red tag on his left sneaker. This was an interesting shoe decision. Click here to see Jamie in the Off White Nike Air Max 90s on the YBF website. The light gray in his sneakers is a subtle but effective match with his light gray overcoat.  Similarly, the black stripes are a niceRead More →

Last year , Nike came out with what I think is one of the best AF1 collection in camo print. The one that caught my attention the most was the jungle camo AF1. Well the brand isn’t quite done with the army theme Af1 project yet. Sneakerheads have just been treated with a derivative of the AF1 camo pack last year, the Nike Air Force 1 Country Camo Pack. The pack includes a total of four sneakers in different shades of camo. Nike Branding will hit the side panels in the usual large swoosh log; and each shoe will bear the AF1’s customary “Nike Air” text atRead More →

Soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo was photographed wearing white Air Force ones with the classic Nike symbols on each shoe side made of Gold!  The new Air Force 1 CR7 Trainers command your attention, while being classically stylish. According to the, Cristiano was boarding his private jet to go to Paris.  He wore navy blue jeans and a navy blue top, which was partially covered by a tan sweater. To match his white Nikes with Gold, he wore a white baseball cap and a gold watch.  His son Cristiano Jr. also wore sneakers on the trip, but did not appear to have a pair of the newRead More →

Tennis legend and arguably Nike’s biggest super star celebrity endorser Serena Williams just had the Nike World Headquarters buildings named after her. Serena wore beautifully bedazzled Nikes in her recent wedding to Alexis Ohanian. What greater loyalty could Serena show to Nike than wearing Nikes in her own wedding?!  Whether or not Nike made the decision to name its new 3-block world Headquarters buildings scheduled to open in 2019 before or after Serena wore Nikes in her wedding is unknown. Serena announced the major honor on her Instagram page, according to the YBF.  The site also reports that Serena will be competing in the 2018 AustralianRead More →

I’m a 90’s baby so my patience for depth less things is close to zero. I don’t claim to be a know it all either for I’m aware that I know nothing. When brands begin to monetize everything and it becomes obvious to the consumer then something is wrong. At the end of the day, the brand is trying to make money, I get it but ” making money” shouldn’t be so obvious to the consumer. Nike has adulterated the uptempo sneakers and it’s appalling. How many of the NY inspired Nike air More uptempos do we need? Let me give you a list of allRead More →

When the Concords were coming out, you could feel it in the air. There was a great anticipation, it was exciting  and people were feeling the jitters. The Jordan 11 win like 96 is coming out tomorrow and no one really cares about it. I think Matt Powell is right to some extent when he says that the lack of scarcity and the loss of the element of surprise are hurting the sneaker market. All I know is Jordan Brand made a gang of the Jordan 11 Win Like 96. I won a raffle for a size 12 which is a hard size to findRead More →

Galaxy themed sneakers were once the most prevalent customs in the sneaker market. They were obviously inspired by the Nike All Star galactic collection. To this day I think the Galaxy KD 4 and the Lebron 9 Galaxy were the best out of the entire pack. But most folks were fascinated with the galaxy foamposite which indeed was very striking. Nearly every customizer took his/her shot at the galaxy theme; then came the paranorman foamposite and just like its predecessors, many artists tried to create their own replicated version of the paranormans. Footwear News made a bold claim a few weeks ago saying that, VirgilRead More →

The Air Jordan 11 Win Like 96 will make its official debut in exactly 5 days from today. I wrote several posts a few days ago alluding to the fact that Jordan Brand has produced several pairs of the model, and that folks shouldn’t be worried about securing a pair.  Yesterday I received a call from DTLR telling me that I had won a raffle for a size 12, which happens to be a hard size to find- this just confirms my earlier assertion about the shoes being mass produced. But today I want to quickly show you ways to avoid the fake pairs that areRead More →
