Nike continues to push the envelope with the Dunk silhouette as new colorways continue to be created. This time around, the sneaker world is being served the Nike Dunk High Reverse Goldenrod.
The shoe was made for those who appreciate quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. It is dressed in a University Gold, Black, White, and Habanero Red color scheme. The leather base is Golden Yellow, with nylon tongues and laces. Black overlays, Swooshes, inner lining, and rubber outsole with Habanero Red tongue branding and insoles atop a White midsole completes the design.
Nike might not say it but the shoe is reminiscent of most Bruce Lee inspired shoes that were dropped in the past ten years. It is a subtle nod to one of Lee’s most iconic movies, “Enter the Dragon.” In the movie, Lee wears a yellow jumpsuit with black stripes running down the sides. This colorway is a direct reflection of that outfit. And while some may say that this sneaker is too busy, I think it would be the perfect shoe for Summer 2023.
