The Nike Air More Uptempo was an instant classic when it was first released in 1996. The shoe’s eye-catching design made a statement both on and off the court. They were a must-have for basketball fans and sneakerheads alike due to their chunky silhouette and bold “AIR” branding. In the years since, the brand has released a number of uninspired colorways of the shoe, but the latest edition, the “Copy Paste,” is borderline a welcome return to form.
The shoe features a white upper with Nike adding extra swoosh logos on both the lateral and medial sides to emphasize the branding. The extra logos are a bit much, but overall, the shoe is a clean look that harkens back to the Uptempo’s earliest days. And for that, we can give Nike a pass. I actually had an opportunity to take a vide of the White Nike Air More Uptempo Copy Paste several days ago during my sneaker scouting, see link below.
