While Kanye West’s influence on fashion and the sneaker community is significant, everything attached to the name Ronnie Fieg is synonymous to supremacy. It almost seems as if every possible major sneaker brand has had some type of joint work with him. His latest collaboration with DSM and New balance will be officially available tomorrow July 7.
The New Balance 574 is by far my favorite model in the NB collection; I used to walk in the mall jsut to catch the footlocker sales in the early 2000’s ( 2 pairs of NB 547 for 89.99). Seeing a special edition of the 574 is definitely a delight. The Ronnie Fieg x Dover Street Market x New Balance 574 will include a total of three colorways special to the collaborators.
The grey one features premium nubuck material on the uppers with a padded heel collar, and pays tribute to the most favored original colorway of the 574. ( nearly everyone I know that loves the 574’s has a grey pair).
The navy one is Ronnie Fieg’s personal favorite hence this colorway, and the all black one is reminiscent of Dover Street Market’s brand palette.
The pack will come with a set of the classic “N” logo in 12 separate removable colors which will allow for 28 different looks of the shoes.
