While recently browsing through Footlocker, a pair of grey New Balance 725 sneakers caught my attention due to their unique aesthetic. New Balance has been introducing several new silhouettes that I’m unfamiliar with, and the 725 is one of them. I attempted to find information online about the inspiration behind this model, but came up empty-handed.
What I can say is that the shoe features a mix of synthetic materials, including mesh that resembles a wired cage on the toe, mid-section, quarter panels, and parts of the heel liner. Hairy suede overlays and synthetic leather are also visible throughout the shoe. The 725 is equipped with an Abzorb midsole designed to absorb shock and displace energy, providing comfort and protection from impact. I’m eager to test out a pair of these shoes myself, and here’s a video showcasing them.
