A total of 11 games were on on Wednesday night for the second day of the official NBA season. I was really interested in the Kings VS Blazers game; two guards with different approaches to the game. fox has bulked up in the off-season, I wanted to see how his game would be affected. And of course Blazers’ Damian Lillard doesn’t cease to amaze us with his incredible range. The other team I was looking forward to seeing is the Bulls. They’ve added some new pieces to the team and their pre-season has been incredible, so I wanted to see if the momentum was carried on. KINGS Vs TRAIL BLAZERS FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS
The Sacramento Kings won 124-121 over the Portland Trail Blazers. In the win, Harrison Barnes had a career-high 36 points, while De’Aaron Fox had 27 points, 5 rebounds, and 8 assists. CJ McCollum (34 points) and Damian Lillard (20 points, 6 rebounds, 11 assists) led the Trail Blazers to a loss.
BULLS VS PISTONS FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS
The Chicago Bulls defeated the Detroit Pistons 94-88, thanks to 34 points and seven rebounds from Zach LaVine. Nikola Vucevic added 15 PTS and 15 REB in the victory, while DeMar DeRozan (17 PTS, 7 REB) and Lonzo Ball (12 PTS, 5 REB, 4 AST) added a combined 29 PTS in their Bulls debut. In the loss, Jerami Grant had 24 points and 6 rebounds for the Pistons.
NUGGETS VS SUNS FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS
The Denver Nuggets defeated the Phoenix Suns 110-98, with to Nikola Jokic’s 27 points and 13 rebounds. Michael Porter Jr. led the Nuggets with 15 points, six rebounds, and five assists, while Chris Paul led the Suns with 15 points, four rebounds, and ten assists.
THUNDER VS JAZZ FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS
The Utah Jazz won 107-86 against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Rudy Gobert led the Jazz with 16 points and 21 rebounds, while Donovan Mitchell added 16 points and four assists in the win. For the Thunder, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 18 points and four rebounds, while Josh Giddey had four points, ten rebounds, and three assists.
MAGIC VS SPURS FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS
The Orlando Magic were defeated 123-97 by the San Antonio Spurs. Devin Vassell led the Spurs with 19 points and five assists, while Dejounte Murray contributed 15 points, six rebounds, and eight assists in the win. Mo Bamba tallied 18 PTS, 4 REB, 4 AST and 4 BLK for the Magic
CELTICS VS KNICKS FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS
In this double overtime game, the New York Knicks defeated the Boston Celtics, 138-134. The Knicks’ Julius Randle (35 PTS, 8 REB, 9 AST) and Evan Fournier (32 PTS, 6 3PM) combined for 67 PTS in the win, while the Celtics’ Jaylen Brown had a career-high 46 PTS (8-14 3pt FG), 9 REB, and 6 AST in the loss.
ROCKETS VS TIMBERWOLVES FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS
The Houston Rockets were defeated 124-106 by the Minnesota Timberwolves. Karl-Anthony Towns led the Timberwolves with 30 points and 10 rebounds, while Anthony Edwards added 29 points, 6 rebounds, and three assists in the win. In the Rockets’ loss, Jalen Green had 9 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists.
CAVALIERS VS GRIZZLIES FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS
The Memphis Grizzlies defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 132-121, led by Ja Morant’s 37 points, six rebounds, and six assists. Jaren Jackson Jr. led the Grizzlies with 13 points, six rebounds, and four blocks in the win, while Jarrett Allen led the Cavaliers with 25 points (11-11 FG), four rebounds, and three blocks in the loss.
76ERS VS PELICANS FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS
The Philadelphia 76ers won 117-97 over the New Orleans Pelicans. For the 76ers, Joel Embiid had 22 points, six rebounds, and five assists, while Tobias Harris had 20 points and 12 rebounds in the win. Brandon Ingram topped all scorers for the Pelicans with 25 points, seven rebounds, and six assists.
WIZARDS VS RAPTORS FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS
The Washington Wizards won 98-83 against the Toronto Raptors. The Wizards’ Bradley Beal led all scorers with 23 points and four assists, while Montrezl Harrell scored 22 points (9-11 FG) and nine rebounds in the win. Scottie Barnes tallied 12 PTS and 9 REB for the Raptors in the losing effort.
PACERS VS HORNETS FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS
The Charlotte Hornets defeated the Indiana Pacers 123-122 after trailing by as much as 23 points. In the Hornets’ loss, LaMelo Ball had 31 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists, while Domantas Sabonis had 33 points and 15 rebounds for the Pacers. Additionally for the Pacers, Chris Duarte, the No. 13 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft out of the University of Oregon, tallied 27 PTS (6-9 3pt FG) for the Pacers.
