The UBIQ x NB 1600 English Crown dropped about a week ago and was birthed obviously out of a collab between New Balance and Ubiq. The nickname of the shoe was inspired by a very weird story involving an outstanding debt by King Charles II and a venturesome Sir William Penn.With a combination of premium materials and excellent craftsmanship, the finished product is without questions a work of art . The UBIQ x NB 1600 English Crown features pigskin suede on the upper with touches of plush leather all throughout. Gold accents are found on the signature “NB” logo on the outer panels and heel counter; the custom burgundy insole bears additional branding as a nod to both NB and Ubiq.
The shoe is equipped with the ABZORB technology on the midsole for superior cushioning. ABZORB is a top of the line midsole material with excellent cushioning and compression set properties. I have always appreciated great work and with this collab, both brands are delivering you a quality product with added accessories ( dust bag included with it). see pictures below for more details.
