I had a chance to see the Nike KD 9 Unlimited about a week and half ago at Footlocker; the manager was just unpacking the august shipment when i stumble upon it. This edition of the KD 9 is part of the 2016 Rio Summer Olympic Collection and rhymes well with Brazil/summer with its vibrant colors. They feature a multi colored flyknit upper with a black base and a volt swoosh on the tongue and side. The midsole sport a Visible full-length Nike Zoom Air unit for responsive cushioning and lasting comfort on the court. Other features include :
- Intersecting lace loops create a “cage” that supports and contains your foot during quick cuts to the basket
- Structured heel enhances stability and support
- Rubber outsole with hexagonal tread for durability and traction
