The Nike Air Trainer SC High Atlanta Olympics
was released Friday ,August the 5th and is an instant classic. They were inspired by the 1996 Atlanta Olympics official logo featuring a teal and rainbow like color scheme. The shoes were constructed with a combination of a heavy premium suede and perforated micro fiber( on the toe box area). The tongue features Nike branding in metallic gold in keeping with the Olympic theme on the right pair; and the left pair sports a peach on the tongue honoring Atlanta as the peach state. Also featured in gold are part of the heel area and eyelets to add an opulent look to the shoes. The white midsole blends in well with the confetti pattern on the translucent outsole to emphasize the grit in the athletes competing for team USA.
