I have been avoiding sharing unnecessary information about Covid- 19. It seems as if everyone has become an expert in this matter and the internet has been oversaturated with uneducated videos about the pandemic. People love to spread senseless speculations about the disease because it makes for good drama, especially in a society dominated by conspiracy theories. This morning though, my sister in law who is a Covid-19 survivor and also classified as a long hauler shared a very informative video about the virus that I believe ought to be shared with the masses. Before I talk about the video, I’ll invite you to read about her ordeal with this deadly virus, see post below
Peter MCCullough is an internist, cardiologist, epidemiologist, and professor of medicine at Texas A&M College of Medicine in Dallas. I watched a video of him this morning in which he made the bold statement that Covid- 19 treatments were available in the early stages of the pandemic. But unfortunately many patients were told by physicians and hospitals that there was nothing that could be done for them. They were sent home with no help and no information as to what was available for them. And as a result, based on the information in the video, about 45,000 deaths were recorded. As Dr. MCCullough continued to talk, he mentioned that with the treatments available, based on the data that was collected, about 85% of deaths and hospitalizations could have been avoided had patients been informed about the treatments. I will invite you to watch the video and make your own judgement call
One of the things that resonated with me as I was listening to DR MCCullough was his final statement, he said
there is a loss of compassion…
And he nailed it when he made the statement I just quoted. That’s the thing, many in the medical fields have lost the compassion to see the sick get well. They are in a state of apostasy and complete indifference. I want to take it a step further and say that people in general are indifferent to other people’s needs and sufferings. This has even infiltrated the Church, believers in Christ have lost their desire to see the spiritually sick get well. There are millions of people dying every day on their way to hell but most of us don’t care a bit about the eternal destiny of their soul because our hearts have become callous. And Scripture talks about it in Matthew 24:12-13
12 And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But the one who endures to the end will be saved.
When people’s love for God grows cold, it automatically affects how they treat each other. This is why there is so much suffering and indifference in the world today. If we have no desire to love God, then we will never love our neighbor. Because of the increase of despair, suffering and hopelessness in the world, some claim that there is no God and others actually blame God for what is taking place . If this is you, I beg you to repent for your blasphemous words. Because we don’t understand the nature of God, we don’t truly know the sinfulness of our sinful condition. I don’t want to turn this into a monologue but I’ll invite you to watch the video below.
