Taking inspirations from the design of 1978 NB 990 model, the shoes were manufactured locally ( in New Balance Boston’s Norridgewock facility). They feature a thee layer suede upper with a built- in premium leather sleeve connected to the tongue and its extension . The entire shoe is covered with perforations for a ventilated comfort; even the NB logo on the midsection panel will be perofrated. They are also equipped with a Vibram sole unit for maximum cushioning. The New Balance Made 1978 Pack will include the two colorways below:
