The The Adidas Neighborhood Invincible NMD R1 is set to officially release on the 29th of December. The shoes were obviously birth out of joint work between Japanese label Neighborhood, Taiwanede retailer Invincible and Adidas.
The shoes drew inspiration from NEIGHBORHOOD classic souvenir Vietnamese jacket embroidered with tigers and fancy lettering and couple the idea with the futuristic approach many brands have adopted. The Tiger is symbolic of motivation and the idea was to create a shoe that embodied the same spirit. Another interesting feature of the shoes is the Kanji character for “Good Fortune”. Neighborhood and Invincible logos can also be spotted on the tongue tab, the sockliner and the EVA inserts. Adidas.s own logo adorns the sockliner as well.
