Another classic Jordan Retro made a comeback this week end, the Jordan 13 low brave blue. Another classic is returning next Saturday April 15, the Air Jordan 11 Low Columbia UNC 528895 106.
The shoes were originally introduced in 2001, same year in which MJ came out of retirement to join the Washington Wizards. Kwame Brown was fresh out of High School and the overall first pick; many thought the Wizards under Doug Collins and the veteran leadership of MJ would be reckoned with. But it ended up being another rocky season and Kwame Brown didn’t live up the expectations set for him. But the best thing at that time was the fury of sneakers released, the UNC low being one of them.
They feature a white leather upper with Carolina blue patent leather covering the toe box and the bottom half of the shoes. Ballistic nylon straps with lace loops will grace the side panels; Jordan logos will be featured on the mid section of the extension of the tongue, the inside of tongue and the back panel. They also sport a double density heel collar for a comfortable fit. Completing the shoes is a polyurethane midsole with full-length Air-Sole unit in the forefoot and heel and a icy blue rubber sole with herringbone threads. Additional features include a carbon fiber shank in the mid section for lightweight and torsional rigidity.
