The first week of December is already brimming with a lot of nifty sneakers; the battle of the leading brands ( Adidas and Nike) is fun to watch. This week , I think Adidas is stealing the spotlight with the release of myriad of Ultra boost sneakers. But Nike is still the Alpha Dog in my opinion; The Nike What The Pendleton ID Collection just proved just how ingenious the brand is.
Pendleton is a family owned business located in Oregon; they have been producing lightweight pure virgin wool for the past 150 years. The ” what the Pendleton ID Collection is their latest concoction with Nike and will include a total of three pairs.
The Air max 90 model is my favorite out of all three pairs. It features a myriad of colors on the upper part built in plush Pendleton wool fabric. Buyers will be able to make the shoes even personal by adding their names to the lace dubraes. Branding comes in a black Nike Swoosh logo on the side panels; you can also spot a little Pendleton tab near the heel. The shoe will sport the customary visible Air pocket on heel for cushioning. A white phylon midsole and a translucent outsole complete the look of the WTP Air Max 90.
The collection will also include two pairs of Air Force One’s. The low top version bear a similar upper to the AM 90 model, and sit on clean white midsole. The high top model will include the customary ankle strap, and will be completed with a gum sole.
The collection will launch on Nike on December 2.
