Counterfeiters are back at it again with their very first take on the newest NMD S1. I actually had no idea that Adidas had dropped this model till I came across the Fake Adidas NMD S1 during my sherlock Holmes replica scouting. Bootleggers continue to amaze me with their attention to details. It’s terrifying to see how skilled they’ve become at making neat, identical reproductions of the most sought-after sneakers on the market. Adidas introduced the S1 in full white for the first time, and the fake pair I found is in a mint colorway. I don’t really have enough information about the NMD S1 to do a side by side comparison, but let me see if there are ways to bust these fakes.
Look at the placement of the tongue tab, it is centered on the fake pair but almost adjacent to the corner of the heel liner on the real pair , ( see yellow circles).
The holes near the side inserts are very visible on the authentic pair but too subtle on the fakes ( see red circles). The trefoil is properly centered on the legitimate pair, see yellow dashes.
The fake midsole is translucent ( see yellow arrow). You can barely see the trefoil logo on the fake pair’s midsole ( see yellow circles).
Packaging is another crucial detail to look at. You can clearly see that fake box is dirty and stained as opposed to the cleaner pristine wrapping on the legitimate pair.
I understand that the colorways are not the same, but there has to be uniformity and consistency when it comes to the labels. The fake label is dirty and has completely different elements on it.
Here are additional images of the Fake Adidas NMD S1. It is hard to identify them if you don’t have an authentic pair as a backdrop, just take a look at the pictures and you’ll understand what I’m saying.
