I recently stumbled upon an insightful video on YouTube, courtesy of Real Vs Fake Official, that conducted a thorough side-by-side examination. Here are the key takeaways from that comparison.

First, you’ll notice how the fake pair’s heel tab has almost squared edges while the real pair has rounded edges , see yellow circle. The red arrows shows you how the replica pair has a lot more hair on its suede at the back. Finally if you zero in on the new balance text, you’ll notice that there is more spacing between each letter on the fakes, see red rectangle.

Obviously, the Real pair has a much longer box and a lighter shade of cream. The NB logo has a much bolder print on the real pair as well.
