In today’s edition of legit check, we’ll quickly learn how to spot and identify the Fake Fragment Travis Scott Air Jordan 1 Low. I wrote a projection post on this shoe, see link below for access
The counterfeit pair of this shoe is so good that I didn’t want to attempt to do a side by side without both the real and fake pairs on hand. But I knew that because the shoe was popular, youtubers were definitely going to do be posting videos on how to legit check it. I came across a decent comparison this morning courtesy of Dusty 4 Kicks and decided to share it. I also wanted to give you a quick synopsis of what to look for in case you couldn’t watch the entire video.
The panel swoosh logo is much thicker and has more girth on the legitimate pair ( zero in on the circles and arrows).
The guy didn’t mention the following flaws in the video so I decided to do so. The real pair is a 10.5 and the fake one is a 12. But I don’t think the technical features will differ that much. If you look at the gap between the throat line and the lace, it’s much wider on the fake pair ( see red line). You’ll also notice the lace hole on the extension of the tongue is wider on the real pair ( see yellow line and circle). Moreover the eyestay covers portions of the perforations on the fake pair ( see red arrow).
The Nike Air text on the tongue tab is equidistant from the edges on the real pair, but on the fakes the gap on the upper portion is wider ( see red lines).
The cactus jack logo is bigger on the authentic pair ( see yellow arrow).
The blue color on the box has a darker shade on the legitimate pair. For more information, watch the video below
Hopefully, this is enough information to help you identify the fake Fragment Travis Scott Air Jordan 1 low.
