Welcome to another edition of the Legit Check! Today we’ll be discussing how to spot the Fake Air Jordan 4 Seafoam . We’ll cover a lot of the details, including the sides, the back, the jumpman, tongue, insole, outsole, box and more. I came across a good side by side comparison courtesy of Real Vs Fake official via Youtube and here are my findings. So grab your shoes and let’s get started!
But first, let’s go through our preliminary steps.
Smell the shoes ( only if you’ve already made the purchase)
One of the dead giveaway is the smell/odor of the glue uses to construct the replicas. If the glue smell is really strong to the point of irritating your nostrils, then you’ve probably being dealt a counterfeit

Ask for a proof of purchase. Receipt must include details such as provenance, time of purchase, date and any other relevant information. If a seller is reluctant to provide that, I will strongly urge to refrain from following through with the purchase.
Toe: Fake Jordan 4 Seafoam
The Fake pair has a much wider toe box than the authentic pair, see how the red line is wider on the counterfeit pair. And if you zero in on the stitching across the throat line, the spacing between the stitches is dotted on the real pair but dashed on the fake. you’ll see the same thing pointed out on the stitching at the tip of the toe.
Back
The Jumpman logo is of a lighter or shall I say paler shade of green on the real pair, the difference is obvious. Also, the heel overlay is slightly higher on the real pair.
Tongue: Real Vs Fake Air Jordan 4 Seafoam
You can clearly see that the jumpman logo of the fake pair has a slightly darker shade, and the jumpman doesn’t look the same between both pairs, his hand is much thicker on the fakes.
Lace Eyelets
The eyelets have a lighter/paler shade of green on the authentic pair, see red circles.
Lateral Side
The panel overlay has a higher cut on the authentic pair, see red line, it shows you how the cut extends further on the real pair.
Insoles: Front & Back
The green again has a paler shade on the authentic pair, see yellow square. And the jumpman logo is slightly bigger on the real pair.
The DREAMCELL text is more legible and clear on the authentic pair, and also has a slightly bolder font.
Outsole: Fake Jordan 4 Seafoam
You can see how the paint job is very sloppy on the fake pair, right around the jumpman, the green isn’t supposed to bleed over the white backdrop, but it clearly does on the counterfeit pair.
Box
The box lid has a darker shade of black on the authentic pair while the fake pair is slightly ashy. The red color on the jumpman logo is much bolder on the fakes.
You can see how the fake box’s lid is powdery and ashy. Moreover the style number and the letters have a bolder font on the fake pair’s label. And the size 11.5 occupies a wider space on the fakes, see yellow dash.
