It’s happened again. You find the ultimate grail on a marketplace – the Jordan 4 Military Black. But before you hit that “buy” button, you want to be sure it’s the real deal. There’s only one problem: how do you tell if a pair of AJ4s are authentic? Don’t worry, we’re here to help. In this post, we’ll show you how to spot and identify a fake Air Jordan 4 Military Black. So whether you’re buying online or from a street vendor, use these tips to make sure you’re getting the real thing. Before we talk about the nuances, let’s first go through our preliminaries.
. Smell the shoes ( only if you’ve already made the purchase)
One of the dead giveaway is the smell/odor of the glue uses to construct the replicas. If the glue smell is really strong to the point of irritating your nostrils, then you’ve probably being dealt a counterfeit
.Proof of Purchase
Ask for a proof of purchase. Receipt must include details such as provenance, time of purchase, date and any other relevant information. If a seller is reluctant to provide that, I will strongly urge to refrain from following through with the purchase.
Lateral Side
There are a few things to talk about here. The leather overlay is cut too low on the fake pair ( see red line). The stitching uneven on the fakes as well( see red square ). The red circles show you how the slits on the midsole are much bigger on the replica pair. Also check out the leather material pointed out by the red arrow ( it is much smoother on the fakes), it is supposed to be tumbled leather. And May I also mention that the grey color on the forefoot overlay is of a darker shade on the replica.
The grey color is a darker shade on the fake pair ( see red circle). And the leather overlay is cut too low on the replica.
Lateral Side: Heel
The circle shows you how the cut is a bit too high on the fake pair ( the wings are supposed to overshadow it). The red square points out the roughness of the leather used on the fakes. Most fakes feature a rough leather material as opposed to a softer tumbled leather. The arrows show you how the double stitching is more spaced out on the fakes. The air unit isn’t wide enough on the replica pair ( see red line).
Once again , you can see how the spacing in the double stitching is narrower on the authentic pair ( see red rectangle). The air unit is much wider on the authentic and the screen is clearer as opposed to the foggy screen on the fakes.
Back
The circles show you how much thicker the heel liner is on the authentic pair. The red arrow shows you how much thicker the edges of the leather is on the real pair.
Tongue
The differences in the Jumpman logo are pretty evident. The fingers are bigger, the shoes are shorter, the bump near the waist is awful on the replica pair. The flight text also leans a little too forward on he replicas.
The tongue is narrower but longer on the fake Air Jordan 4 Military black.
Outsole
The grey spots are of a lighter shade on the legit pair.
There you have it folks, Hopefully with these tips, you’ll be able to quickly legit check the Air Jordan 4 Military Black. I’ll update the post as soon as a new batch of fakes appears. In the meantime, do not buy this shoe from anyone unless all things above that I mentioned are cleared.
