Welcome to another edition of legit check, today we’ll learn how to identify the Fake Air Jordan 4 Bred Reimagined. It is one of the most anticipated release of 2024 that will hit retailers in mid February. As you all know, fakes have already entered the market and in this post we’ll lean on Jacob Marcellus‘s side by side comparison to teach you how to avoid the replicas. Areas of our focus will be the toe, the back, sides, air units, outsole and more.
TOE: Real Vs Fake Air Jordan 4 Bred Reimagined
The mesh material on the extension of the tongue is a more stretchy on the real pair. On the replica pair, if you press your finger on the mesh, it feels stiff and hard and not as stretchy as it is on the authentic pair.
We’ll start with the air chamber, for sizes 11 and above ( by the way this is a size 12), you’ll notice three columns on the real pair but only two on the fakes, see red rectangles. And if you zero in on the red circles, once again, you’ll notice that the leather material has very vivid wrinkles on the fake pair that are more subtle on the legitimate pair. And the yellow arrow shows you that the paint job is a bit sloppy on the midsole on the fakes.
Next, the leather cut on the wing strap is rough and rugged on the fake pair but smooth on the real pair, see yellow rectangle.
BACK: FAKE JORDAN 4 BRED Reimagined
On the back of the insole, there are no markings or references on the legitimate pair, see red circles.
The insoles come in a deeper color of red on the fake pair; and if you also look closely the the authentic insole features subtle horizonal lines on its surface, that are nowhere to be seen on the fake insole.
The black light tests reveals several differences: The fake pair’s outsole turns pink at the heel and forefoot, as well as on the midsection Nike’s logo, but the real pair doesn’t. And there is a spot highlighted by the yellow square on the replica pair that is nowhere to be seen on the authentic pair.
BOX: Fake Jordan 4 Bred Reimagined
The ball is almost oval on the real pair’s box, se green circles. And once again, the Jumpman logo comes in a slightly lighter shade of orange.
The label of the fake pair is missing the women’s sizing, see yellow circle. And if you zero in on the yellow arrow, you’ll see that the Air Jordan 4 Retro text comes in a much bolder font on the fake pair.
There you have it folks, hopefully you’ll be able to spot the Fake Air Jordan 4 Bred Reimagined with these tips.
