The Air Jordan 1 Mid Banned is one of the most popular sneakers on the market. If you’re looking to buy a pair, it’s important to be able to spot and identify the fake version. In this post, we’ll show you how to do just that. We’ll also provide some tips on how to avoid getting scammed when buying sneakers online. Stay safe and stay fresh!
Side- Right Pair
The Fake Air Jordan 1 Mid Banned isn’t as high as the authentic pair, see yellow long vertical line. The stitching on the quarter panel is too slanted on the replica pair ( see yellow arrows). The gap between the swoosh logo and the midsole is smaller on the fake pair ( see yellow line). The ankle liner isn’t thick on the replica ( see yellow circle) and moreover the material used between both pairs isn’t the same, I’ll show you better pics later.
Let me remind you that both shoes are size 8’s so the features ought to be the same. But as you can see the gap between the wings logo and the stitching on the panel’s strap is wider on the authentic pair. The wings logo itself is more glossy on the legitimate pair and flat on the fakes. And zero in on the yellow rectangle, you’ll notice not only that the ankle liner is thicker on the authentic pair but the material used isn’t the same.
Back
(1) The first set of arrows show you that the padding on the liner is thicker on the real pair and a different material is used on it. The fake appears to have holes on it.
(2) The second set of arrows show you how rough the edges of the leather overlay is on the fakes in comparison to the polished edges on the authentic pair.
The heel tab is wider on the authentic pair, see yellow rectangle. Plus the material on the upper portion of the heel is of poor quality on the Fake Air Jordan 1 Mid Banned.
Inside Label
The Fake pair has the wrong UPC code and an earlier production date, see red arrows. The jumpman on the label doesn’t look the same between both labels. And the production factory isn’t the same, see red square.
Box Label
The color code is wrong, the style number is wrong , the labels don’t look the same, the differences are obvious.
There you have it folks, I hope you will be able to spot the Fake Jordan 1 Mid Banned with these tips. I’ll update the post as soon as a new batch of fakes appears. In the meantime, do not buy this shoe from anyone unless all things above that I mentioned are cleared.
