Welcome to another edition of the Legit Check! Today we’ll be discussing how to spot the Fake Air force 1 low Tiffany & Co 1837 . We’ll cover a lot of the details, including the sides, the back, the swoosh logo, tongue, insoles and more. There were a few comparison videos I watched online and finally came across one with an updated pair of fakes that I deemed was the best, it was courtesy of MK The Truth via Youtube. So grab your shoes and let’s get started!
Back
The picture above is from an updated pair of fakes, as you can see the heel tab is more glossy on the fakes than it is on the authentic pair. And the leather material on the heel also has more wrinkles on it. The heel liner is slightly thicker on the authentic pair, see red arrow. And finally the silver piece on the back is more shiny on the legitimate pair, see yellow arrow.
Tongue
The material used on the outside on the tongue is satin like and glossy on the real pair but flat on the fake, and it appears to be some sort of mesh material on the fakes. The “tiffany” text” is also more shiny on the real pair, see red circle. And the gap between the tongue tag and the edge of the tongue liner is wider on the fakes, see red line.
Side Swoosh
This is very subtle but the swoosh logo has a slightly darker shade of teal on the authentic pair, but appears pale on the fakes.
Insoles: Real Vs Fake Air Force 1 Low Tiffany & Co
The Nike Air text and logo are more shiny on the insole of the fake air force 1 tiffany & co pair, see red circle. And once again check the gap between the tongue liner and the tongue tag, it is much wider on the counterfeit pair.
Footbed
The serial number on the authentic pair have more digits and of a darker shade of blue. The tape used is to keep the stitching is shorter and pale on the fakes, and is you also zero in on the insole, it is slightly thicker on the real pair.
Wrapping Paper
Look at the graphics on the tissue paper, the authentic pair has a darker backdrop/ background around the Air Force 1 in the picture, see yellow circle.
Box
Even though the boxes are the same size, the authentic pair’s box has a darker shade, it is obvious as you zero in on the pictures.
The QR code of the fake box label is darker, see yellow circle. And the authentic pair has finer prints, see yellow arrow.
Laces: Fake Air Force 1 Low Tiffany & Co
This is subtle but if you close in on the yellow laces, the authentic pair appears to be of a lighter shade.
