    Welcome back to another edition of legit check, today we’ll quickly learn how to sniff out the Fake Adidas Yeezy Slide Gray Slate. This is a pair of slide that is on demand and counterfeiters are doing their best to perfect it. Fortunately for us, I was able to find a video comparison courtesy of Jacob Marcellus and here are my findings

    If you zero in on the Adidas three bands logo, you’ll immediately notice the differences in the craftsmanship. The logo is fully embossed on the authentic pair and the edges are clean and clear. On the fake pair, the edges have extra lines, almost like a border around them, and that’s nowhere to be seen on the real pair, see red circles.

    First, zero in on the red dash, you’ll notice how the gap or the spacing on the indented portion of the side is much wider on the authentic pair. And if you close in on the red arrow, you’ll also see that the tip of the indentation is clearly defined and visible on the real pair, but you do not see that on the replica pair.

    The “YZY Slide” text is of a darker print on the real pair but of a bolder font on the fakes. And the “ID2350” wording is also of a darker print on the authentic pair, see red rectangles.  And the fake tag is off -white while the authentic tag is snow white.

    The ” made by Adidas” text is of a bolder font on the fake pair, see red rectangle. And if you zero in on the green rectangle, you’ll notice how the references appear faded and washed on the fake box label. The red arrows also show you how the ” Made in china” text and the UPC code and references are washed on the fake box, it’s quite obvious.

    The authentic pair’s box is slightly higher than the fake box, see yellow line. And the fake box is of a different shade of brown than the authentic one. Also zero in on the YZY Slide and Made by Adidas text” , they are of a darker shade/print on the real pair.
