Welcome back to another legit check edition. Today we’ll learn how to quickly spot the Fake Air Jordan 1 High True Blue. I will be adding more side by side comparisons to this post within a few days so be sure to check with us regularly as fakes are getting better by the minute.
Smell the shoes ( only if you’ve already made the purchase)
One of the dead giveaway is the smell/odor of the glue uses to construct the replicas. If the glue smell is really strong to the point of irritating your nostrils, then you’ve probably being dealt a counterfeit
Proof of Purchase
Ask for a proof of purchase. Receipt must include details such as provenance, time of purchase, date and any other relevant information. If a seller is reluctant to provide that, I will strongly urge to refrain from following through with the purchase.
Wings Logo: Fake Jordan 1 High True Blue
This is a recurring thing with most Fake Jordan 1’s. You’ll notice that the spacing between the feathers of the wings logo is much wider on the fake pair, zero in on arrows.
Tongue
The spacing between the bottom of the tongue and the edge of the bump on the tongue is wider on the fake pair, see red line.
Another major problem you can spot right away is the stitching on the tongue. They are uneven as pointed out by the red arrows. And if you look closely at the letters of the “Nike” text they are pretty wavy or spiky, the picture below will show you a much larger view.

Insoles
The blue print has a darker shade on the fake Air Jordan 1 High True Blue insole. The letters have a bolder font as well. And the ink used on the fakes is of cheap quality and will peel off as soon as the wearer steps foot in the shoe, see example below.

Box Label
The ‘Air Jordan 1 Retro’ text and style code have a bigger font on the fake pair, see red rectangles. And the red arrows show you how the letters and markings are almost faded on the replica pair’s label. And you’ll also notice that the non US sizes have a bolder font on the real pair.
There you have it folks, hopefully you’ll be able to spot any fake Air Jordan 1 High True Blue with these tips. I’ll update the post within the next couple of weeks, stay tuned.
