I decided to also include in my legit check segment a new wrinkle, in which I’ll also be diving into helping you sniff out counterfeit clothes. This morning, we’ll be learning how to spot the fake Gucci Blade T shirt. This shirt has an MSRP of $400, and you certainly don’t want to be lulled into forking over that much money for a fake one. I was able to find a thorough comparison on YouTube courtesy of Fake CIP, and I proceeded to give you a breakdown of the main things to look for. We’ll mainly focus on the color, the collar, the tags, stitching, and more.
How To Tell If Your Gucci Blade T shirt Is Fake
Shirt Front Colors

If you take a look at the red arrows, You’ll notice how the colors are deeper and richer on the authentic shirt as opposed to the almost faded colors on the fake. And also the authentic shirt comes in a more cream color whereas the fake shirt is plain white, see red circles.

A closer look at the Gucci logo colors shows you how the fake shirt has a thick deep red band at the edges that divide the green and the red, but if you look at the real shirt, there is no such thing, see yellow arrow.
Collar

If you look at the collar, you’ll notice how the the fake shirt features double stitching while the real one only has a single stitching, see red circle.

More on the collar, the stitching is centered on the fake Gucci Blade T shirt but closer to the edge on the real shirt, see red line.
Collar Label ( Front)

There are so many things wrong here. First, the fake label comes in a metallic gold color while the legit shirt comes in a more copper/bronze color, see yellow circles. Also the fake label is wider than the real one, see red lines. The GUCCI wording comes in smaller but bolder letters on the authentic shirt, see yellow rectangle. The real shirt features red stitches at its edges while the fake comes with white stitches, see red arrow. The made in Italy tag is wider and comes in a metallic gold color on the fake label, see red square.
Collar Label (Back)

The fake label is obviously larger than the real one, see red line. The colors aren’t the same, see yellow circle, and the red arrows show you that the fake label features fringes.
Collar Label ( Serial Number)

The fake label serial number tag is almost fading while the real one is dark black.

The serial numbers are not the same, that’s quite obvious, see red rectangles, and the red arrow shows you how the RFID graphic appears faded on the fake tag.
Hang Tag

The green colors are completely different between them, they aren’t even close to be the same. And the graphic embedded on the tag appears to be upside down on the fake Gucci Blade T shirt.

No comments are needed here, you can clearly spot the poor craftsmanship on the fakes.

The references are completely different.

The real tag comes in a cream color while the fake one comes in a plain white color.
Shirt Bottom ( Tag)

The fake Gucci blade shirt comes with a small size tag attached at the bottom of the label. Also notice how the gap between the GUCCI text and the references is much wider on the real shirt, see red line. The text comes in a bolder font on the legitimate shirt as well, see red arrow

The double stitching is much wider on the fake shirt, see red arrow ( by the way this is at the bottom of the shirt).
There you have it folks, I hope with these tips you’ll be able to identify the Fake Gucci Blade T shirt and won’t fall for the counterfeiters’ tricks. You may also want to check my authentication post on the Nike Polo Shirt as fakes have already flooded third party marketplaces.
