Nike continues the dunk low saga by incessantly dropping newer colorways with rather interesting inspirations. The latest is the Nike Dunk Low Team Red, another ladies’ exclusive.
The shoe features a textile leather upper in a Sail, Team Red and Muslin color combination. Additional features include mesh tongues and lining. There are several other notable elements worth mentioning that include a special gold hardware that reads “JUST DO IT” on the throat line. You’ll also find Roman numerals reading 2023 on the lateral heel and insoles. To finish of the look of the shoe, Nike included an aged midsole contrasted by a wine colored outsole. This shoe is certainly going to be a hit, for purchase purposes, refer to the details below.

As you can see, the resale value went from $133 to $292 within a 24 hour span and then rapidly dropped to $149 the very next day. The next 48 hours that followed saw it decrease slowly to $141. It then went back up to another high 0f $170, then down to $156, and up to $166. And since the 17th, it has been decreasing by an average of $2 a day and is currently $148. We need to find our five number summary for further details.
Minimum: 125
Quartile Q1: 146.75
Median: 156
Quartile Q3: 167
Maximum: 311
The highest sale recorded was $311 for a size 12W, and that as on February 11. But it is worth noting that another size 12w sold for $134 on the 19th of February. The lowest sale recorded was $125 for a size 9.5w on 2/10/23. 25% of the shoes sold for prices from $125 to $147, while half of them sold for prices between $147 and $167. The remaining 25% sold for prices between $167 and $311. $198,$272 and $311 were all considered outlier and they corresponded to sizes 11w,11w and 12w. With these three removed, the overall average sale price is $156, with a 10% volatility. You can expect about 68% of the shoe to sell within the $140 and $172 interval. The next chart will show us the current earnings by size sold.
Current Earnings By Size Sold

33% of the sales led to earnings between $3 and $10 ( sizes 8w,9w,9.5w, 10w and 10.5w) while 47% led to earnings between $15 and $25. Sizes 11w,11.5w and 12w generated the most profits i.e $46 and $49. But it is important to note that recent prices for these sizes have gone down to below $150. What is to be concluded?
Verdict
The $15 to $25 margins led to mark ups of 12% and 20% ( right around average and slightly above), while the $46 and $49 margins led to mark ups of 36% and 39% (2 to 2.5 times above average). So logic says that aim for those sizes if you’re a Day trader. But it is imperative that you keep your eyes on the last three days, they are the most telling. So I’ll say exercise caution and mostly aim for larger sizes. For the long term investment, I’ll highly recommend exclusively targeting sizes 10.5 and above, you won’t regret it.
