The Nike SB Dunk Low Blue Raspberry is the newest addition to Nike’s skateboarding line. Taking after the fruit, the shoe is Dressed in a Racer Blue, Laser Blue, University Blue, and White color scheme. The leather base and suede overlays add a premium look and feel to the sneaker, while the mesh tongues add breathability. The sneaker’s highlight is a graphic of a stoned Blue Raspberry with two different facial expressions hidden behind the tongue tags, which pays homage to the sneaker’s namesake fruit. A white midsole atop a Blue rubber outsole completes the design. The sneaker is a nod to the ’90s and early 2000s when sneakerheads would co-sign any new Nike SB release.

Nike SB Blue Raspberry: Resale Value
According to the chart above, the average sale price is in the low $200’s. Prices may drop by 1% to 5% when the shoe is officially released, but the shoe will almost certainly have a high resale value. Let’s take a look at what the five-number summary reveals.
Minimum: 150
Quartile Q1: 195.75
Median: 216
Quartile Q3: 232.5
Maximum: 352
The lowest recorded sale was $150 (size 4.5), and the highest was $352. (size 14). 25% of the shoes sold for between $150 and nearly $196. That’s already encouraging to hear. 50 percent sold for between $196 and $232, and the top 25 percent sold for between $233 and $352. There were four outliers (288, 294, 296, 352) corresponding to sizes 13,13,14 and 14. The overall average resale value without the outliers is $211, resulting in a +$75 profit for a 64% mark up ( that’ good). The chart below will give you a breakdown of the current earnings per size sold. You will also be able to see where each size falls within the five number summary.
11% of the sales lead to profit under $40 (sizes 4.5 and 5.5). I’ll also include the size 5 in that interval ( sample size too small, only 2 sales). 44% of the sales resulted in profit margins between $40 and $80 ( sizes 6-9 and size 10.5). 33% yielded to profits between $80 and $100 ( sizes 9.5-10,11-12) and another 11% resulted in earnings $100 and above. To maximize your earnings, you definitely want to aim for sizes 11-14, they lead to incredible margins.
Verdict
It’s pretty clear that this is a shoe you want to invest in. It’s a low initial investment that leads to considerable margins. And with a shoe like this, you can expect prices to peak at $300 in about 14 months. So should you buy it for resale purposes? Absolutely.
