Nike is dropping two pairs of their iconic Dunk Low LX silhouette this week. The first pair I introduced you to was the black and white pair, and now I’m here to introduce you to the Nike Dunk Low LX Pink Foam. Both pairs have a luxury suede build, but this pair comes with a unique cream and pink color combination that really makes it stand out from its counterpart.
The shoe features a light cream hue on the toe box and midfoot area, while the heel paneling, the forefoot overlay and the eyestay come in pink foam. The entire upper is crafted from premium suede with perforations on the side panels for breathability. Of course, we can’t forget about that iconic Swoosh logo on both sides in platinum. The laces, which come in black and white, and the trademark white midsole complete the design.

Dunk Low Pink Foam: Resale Value
Popularity/demand
Since February 6, 2022, interest in the sneaker has fluctuated, with many peaks between 50 and 100. The months of March through Mid-May, the start of June, the end of September, and the first few days of November saw the lowest levels of interest. It has been more consistent since since, and is currently very near to a 100.
The ratio between the number of listings and the number of bids on third party marketplaces is about 133/57, with the supply exceeding the demand by 57%, that’s a bit too high. Does this affect the sell through rate?
Sell Through Rate
The STR is about 44%, about 1.1 time above average, that’s good, the shoe is selling relatively well.
What is the current resale value?
Minimum: $130
Quartile Q1: $149.5
Median: $162
Quartile Q3: $165
Maximum: $205
According to the five number summary, 25% of the pairs sold between $130 and $150 almost ( see next chart for sizes). Half of the shoes sold for prices from $150 to $165 and the remaining 25% sold for prices between $165 and $205. The lowest sale recorded was $130, for a size 11w while the highest sale, which also happened to be the only outlier was $205, for a size 11.5w.
The overall average sale price with the outlier removed is $157, with a volatility of 6%, that’s very good. You can expect 95% of the shoes to sell between $139 and $192. The next chart will show you the estimated earnings by size sold.
The best margins, those slightly above average are between $18 and $59, coming from sizes 6w,6.5w,7w,7.5w,8w,8.5w,9w and 11.5w. I do want to mention that for size 11.5w , only one sale was recorded, so numbers might be lower when the shoe releases officially. We already saw that the volatility was 6% so prices won’t change significantly.
What’s the verdict?
The shoe is relatively good to resell especially for the sizes with earnings leading to margins above average. Even though this is a good shoe to resell for day traders, long-term investors stand to gain the most. Within the following 18 months, it could reach the $300 price point. I’ll strongly advise purchasing a sizable number of pairs.
