The sneaker world is never short of surprises, and one of the latest ones has been the release of the Air Jordan 11 Low Yellow Snakeskin. The reasoning behind this particular shoe’s release, however, seems to be a mystery to some. Why release it now, and why in these colors?
One theory behind the Yellow Snakeskin’s release is that it’s simply a bold and bright colorway that’s perfectly suited for the summer months. The Air Jordan 11 Low has always been a favorite sneaker for people who love to enjoy the sun, and this particular release takes that summer vibe to a whole new level.
Another possible reason for the Yellow Snakeskin’s release is that it’s an especially appealing design for female sneakerheads. Jordan Brand has always been dedicated to creating shoes that cater to a wide variety of tastes, and this one is no exception. Of course, it’s entirely possible that there’s no rhyme or reason behind the Yellow Snakeskin’s release at all – Jordan Brand might have simply decided to release it because it’s an attractive sneaker that they thought people would be excited about.
So, now that we’ve explored some possible reasons why Jordan Brand decided to release the shoe , let’s take a closer look at the design itself. The shoe features a white leather base with yellow snakeskin mudguards. This snakeskin pattern is bold and eye-catching, but not overwhelming – it’s just enough to add some interest to the shoe without taking away from the classic Jordan 11 look. The white midsole and yellow translucent outsole complete the design, creating a cohesive and visually appealing sneaker that’s sure to be a hit with fans of Jordan Brand.

The chart above gives us a summary of the average sale price of the shoe since April 27,2023. As you can see from the records, prices went from $301 on the 27th of April down to $227 on May 9, decreasing by an average of $7 per day. Up to May 6, they were still relatively high but since the 7th, they have been close to the retail price ( with tax included) and that’s certainly good news for buyers. Let’s see what the five number summary reveals.
Quartile Q1: 219.75
Quartile Q3: 263
The lowest sale recorded was $195, size 9.5w on May 8. The same size 9.5w sold for $304 on April 27th. The highest sale recorded was $363 for a size 11w. And the size 11w is currently selling for right around $240. About 1/4 of the shoes sold between $195 and $220, while half of them sold between $220 and $263. The highest sales make about 25% of the total sales and were between $263 and $363. The only recorded outlier was the $363. With that removed from the data, the overall average resale value is $241 with an 11% volatility ( below normal).
At $241, you’re looking at a profit margin of $17, an 8% mark up ( twice below average). Let’s check out the earnings generated by size ( but keep in mind that prices are currently trending down).
Should You Resell The Jordan 11 Low Yellow Snakeskin?
After analyzing the data, it appears that only a few specific sizes are worth targeting for reselling purposes: 8.5w, 12w, 11w, and 10w. While these sizes do command above-average markups in the current market, it’s worth noting that the current volatility is around 11%, meaning that prices are likely to drop once the shoe officially releases. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend investing in this shoe for resale, given that certain smaller sizes are selling for nearly the suggested MSRP. It’s possible that these sizes have made their way into the Nike employee store, where the shoe is typically sold at discounts of up to 50% below the MSRP
It’s up to you to make that call, there are other better investment options I discussed yesterday i.e. the Jarritos Nike SB Low.
