Nike continues to astound with its inexhaustible array of options. They’ve unleashed a myriad of colorways for their uptowns, and just when you anticipate they’ve exhausted all possibilities, they unveil another masterpiece. In their latest move, they’ve once again jumped on the collaboration bandwagon, introducing the Terror Squad x Nike Air Force 1 Low blackout edition—a partnership that originated in the early 2000s with South Bronx artist Fat Joe.
In 2004, the CEO of Terror Squad partnered with Nike to create exclusive Friends & Family versions of the Terror Squad-branded Air Force 1s. Fast forward nearly two decades, and the much-anticipated Terror Squad Air Force 1 Low collaboration is finally slated for public release.
The design boasts a striking White and Black color scheme reminiscent of a “Panda”, does that ring a bell. Constructed entirely of leather, the Af1 “Terror Squad” features a White base complemented by Black overlays, Swooshes, tongues, heels, and a rubber outsole. Additional White accents adorn the inner lining, tongue labels, and midsole. The shoe’s standout feature is the iconic “TS” logo embroidered on the lateral heel, coupled with “JC” (Joey Crack) on the heel tabs. It even includes an extra set of laces.
This release is a testament to Nike’s strategic mastery, demonstrating their impeccable timing when it comes to deploying their “secret sauce”. Their marketing prowess remains unrivaled, as evidenced by this latest collaborative venture.

The chart above gives us a summary of the average sale price of the shoe since September 5th on third party marketplaces. Prices started at $246 on 9/5 and went up to high $200’s for the next two days that followed. They then went back down to $258 on the 8th and $269 on the 9th, and for the past two days, they have been right around $250. Let’s see what the five number summary reveals,
Minimum: 181
Quartile Q1: 248.5
Median: 259
Quartile Q3: 275
Maximum: 401
The lowest sale recorded is $181, size 10 and that occurred on 9/8/23, while the highest sale recorded was $401, size 13 on the 6th of September. 25% of the sales were between $181 and $249 ( see next chart for sizes), while half of them sold between $249 and $275. The top 25% sales were between $275 and $401 and there were seven outliers, {$181, $195, $315, $324, $328, $345, $401}.
With these outliers removed, the overall average resale value is $259 with a 7% volatility, hence close to 95% of the shoes will sell between $202 and $260, leading to profits between $25 and $78, for mark ups between 15% and 49% ( 1 to 7.3 times above average). That’s great news if you’re a Day Trader ( reseller). The next chart will show you the earnings generated by each size.
Observation
8% of the sales led to earnings under $20 ( size 7), while 33% generated profit margins between $50 and $75 ( sizes 9,10,10.5 and 11.5). 42% led to earnings between $80 and $95 ( sizes 8.5,9.5, 11,12 and 14). Sizes 13 and 6.5 led to the most returns with $118 and $111 respectively.
Literally every size is worth the investment with size 13 being the best one to target if you’re looking for a homerun. This shoe is probably one of the best ones to resell this month.
