The Air Jordan 12 Emoji is certainly another gimmicky sneaker coming out of JB’s lab. It is a kids exclusive colorway that takes inspiration from video games. The shoe features a white leather upper with blue accents and video game-themed emoji’s on the lateral heel and inner lining. Reminiscent of the Melo 12 PE, this Air Jordan 12 pays homage to one of Carmelo Anthony’s most iconic sneakers. If you’re interested in purchasing a pair, refer to the details below

Jordan 12 Retro Emoji: Resale Value
The graph gives us a breakdown of the average price of the shoe since May the 24th. It started at $269 on 5/24 and rapidly decrease to $159 on May the 31st. The resale value went down by roughly $14 every day since the 24th of May. But there are some very important things we need to make mention of. Prices vary based on the size sold, this is why it is imperative that we find our five number summary prior to making any accurate projection.
Minimum: 155
Quartile Q1: 174
Median: 196
Quartile Q3: 205
Maximum: 269
The lowest sale recorded was $155 ( size 5y) while the highest sale was $269 ( size 7y, recorded on May 24). The size 7y has since gone down to $195. 1/4 of the shoes sold for prices from $155 to $174 ( mostly sizes 4.5y,5y and 5.5y). Half sold for prices between $175 and $205 ( a size 4y,5y but mostly sizes 6y, 6.5y and 7y). Another 1/4 sold for prices from $205 to $269 ( only sizes 7y), but these prices occurred before May the 27th and can be disregarded. There was only one outlier ( the size 7y) that sold for $269. So without the outlier, our average resale value is $188, leading to a profit margin of +$12, for a 7.5% mark up. The chart below will show you the current earnings per size sold.
The shoe has not even released yet and 35% of the recorded sales are leading to losses. I’m sure that even the larger sizes 6.5y-7y will probably drop by 1% to 5% comes June 1st.
Verdict
This isn’t a shoe I will recommend for resellers. More good news for sneakerheads and collectors, with patience you’ll be able to get a pair for retail or even less. For other breakdowns like this, visit our projection page.
