The chart above gives us a breakdown of the average sale price of the shoe since February 21, 2023. Prices for the most part stayed within the $130 to $140 range between 2/21 and Mach 4th of 2023. They then suddenly jumped to $152 on the 5th of March and back down to $149 on the 6th. There was another notable change on the 7th of March as prices dropped down to $123 and $115 the very next day. They began to increase again and there was another high of $156 on the 10th of march. The last three days, the average sale price has been between $135 and $146, let’s see what the five number summary reveals.

25% of the shoes sold for prices between $110 and $131 ( see next chart for sizes), while 50% sold for prices between $131 and $140. There was another 25% that sold for prices from $140 to $191. A total of four outliers were recorded, {$110, $173, $182, $191}, corresponding to sizes 12, 12,10.5 and 15. With these outliers removed, the overall average sale price of the shoe is $134, which is already below the suggested retail price. It leads to a $21 loss, that’s not good very good news for day traders. The next chart will show us the current earnings/losses by size sold.

All but one pair, the size 15 led to a $31 profit. Every other size led to losses , mostly between $20 and $35. If you were planning on reselling this shoe, I hope you’ve seen plenty of evidence to absolutely stay away from it. This is another instance of the shoe being made available a the Nike employee store ( where it is being sold for up to 50% below the suggested MSRP). This is great news for buyers as they’ll be able to pick up the shoe below its retail value.
