Jordan Brand consistently innovates, introducing fresh colorways for its iconic sneaker models. The enduring appeal of the Jordan 12 is particularly impressive, with each new color combination keeping the silhouette relevant and stylish. The latest release to hit the spotlight is the Air Jordan 12 Field Purple.
Sporting a striking color scheme of Black, Field Purple, Metallic Gold, and Taxi, this iteration of the Air Jordan 12 takes inspiration from Gary Payton’s Jordan 12 “Lakers” PE, harking back to his tenure with the Los Angeles Lakers. The design showcases a sleek Black leather upper, accentuated by vibrant Field Purple highlights on the textile mudguards, the side-profile Jumpman badge, and the tongue branding. Adding a touch of luxury, Metallic Gold upper eyelets are combined with Purple branding that extends down the tongue.
Final touches include Taxi accents on the heel tabs and a carbon fiber plate underfoot, all sitting atop a rich Purple rubber outsole. For purchase purposes, refer to the details below

Jordan 12 Field Purple: Resale Value
The chart above gives us a summary of the average sale price of the shoe since July 26,2023 on eBay. As you can see, between the 26th of July and august 6th, prices reached their highest at $349.99. They then began to decline and are currently right around $231.49. So far only a total of 26 pairs have been sold and the sell through rate is 36.11% ( slightly below average). Let’s see what the numbers look like on StockX
Prices went from $202 to $210 within a 24 hour span and they are still lower than eBay’s prices, and so far 362 pairs have been sold, leading to a sell through rate of 59%, which completely obliterates eBay’s sell through rate. This also just shows you that the majority of buyers are opting for StocKx and only a few are still being loyal to eBay. It all comes down to the prices being more competitive on StockX.
Anyway, here’s what the five number summary reveals.
Minimum: 195
Quartile Q1: 196
Median: 198
Quartile Q3: 199
Maximum: 340
The lowest sale recorded was $195 for a size 11 while the highest was $340 for a size 12.5( that isn’t surprising since this is a scarce size). 25% of the shoes sold between $195 and $195 and half of them sold between $196 and $199. the top 25% sales were from $199 to $340 and there were five outliers, {225, 254, 255, 268, 340}.
Based on these outliers, you can clearly see that most pairs are selling under $225. With the outliers disregarded, the overall average resale value is $198 with a 1% volatility. So you can expect about 95% of the shoes to sell between $196 and $200. At these prices you’re looking at a -$30 loss if you’re a Saturday morning reseller.
This is however wonderful news for buyers as you’ll be able to grab a pair most likely those wearing sizes 8-13 under retail via StockX.
