As we celebrate Women’s History Month, Jordan Brand is gearing up to release a new tropical-themed Air Jordan 1 Mid SE in honor of Women’s History Month. The Wmns Air Jordan 1 Mid SE Tiki Leaf will hit stores within the next couple of hours and will certainly be a hit.
The shoe boasts a striking color scheme that includes Team Red, University Red, Sail, and Muslin. Its mix of suede and tumbled leather materials provide a sophisticated touch. Bold embroidered Swooshes on the sides add an eye-catching detail, while leaf embroidery on the heel overlay and collar give off island vibes. A Sail midsole atop a Red rubber outsole completes the design. This release serves as a reminder of the significant contributions made by women in various fields, including sports. It also highlights the importance of representation and inclusivity in all aspects of life.

The chart gives us a summary of the average sale price of the shoe since January 20,2023. As you can see prices went from $142 to $185 between 1/20 and 1/26 of 20223. They then went down to $138 on the 18th of February and up to $175 the very next day, then down to $144 on the 23rd of February, and up to $169 on the 25th. This up and down pattern continued till the 4th of March where the highest average was recorded at $203. The very next day, it dropped very rapidly to $130 then $120 and between the 7th and the 8th of March , the sale price went from $139 to $142. We definitely need our five number summary for further details.
Quartile Q1: 132.25
Quartile Q3: 166.5
The lowest sale recorded was $110 for a size 9.5 on March 3rd while the highest sale was $203, recorded on March 4th for a size 9w. 25% of the shoes sold between $110 and $132 while 50% sold between $132 and $167. The top 25% sales were between $167 and $203. No outliers were recorded so the pricing distribution is normal. The overall average resale value is $148 with a 15% volatility. At this price, you’re looking at an -$8 loss if you were planning on reselling this shoe. 68% of the shoes will sell for prices between $126 and $170 based on the volatility. The next chart will show you the current earnings by size sold.
As you can see from the records above, all but one pair led to a profit of $21, the size 9w. Every other pair led to quite significant losses. This is probable another case of the shoe being available at the Nike Employee Store ( where it is being sold up to 50% below the suggested MSRP). The verdict is clear, you certainly don’t want to resell this shoe, you’ll incur major losses. However, this is fantastic news for buyers who’ll probably be able to snatch a pair for retail or below.
